Dark Pregnancy the destruction is a dance-theater short piece within trilogy Chronicles of a Uterus, inspired by Mayan cosmology, particularly the belief that the womb is a primary organ of perception in women. The trilogy evokes the capacity of the uterus as a vessel of destruction, creation and preservation.

Set in the Great Depression, this story narrates a woman experiencing a series of powerful and enigmatic thoughts, feelings and physical behaviors emanating from her womb.
